Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Policy


The Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy (SAP) applies to all students enrolled in the Permanent Cosmetics Program at Glamour Beauty and Brows Training Institute.


Minimum SAP Requirements


To maintain satisfactory academic progress, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade Performance: Maintain a cumulative grade average of at least 75% in theory and practical evaluations.
  • Attendance: Maintain a minimum attendance rate of 67%.


Evaluation Periods


Students enrolled in the Permanent Cosmetics Program (200 Hours) will be evaluated at the completion of 100 actual hours to determine compliance with SAP standards. Evaluations are conducted within seven (7) business days of reaching the evaluation point.


Attendance Progress

Students must attend at least 67% of their scheduled hours to be considered maintaining satisfactory attendance progress. Attendance percentage is calculated as:


Total Hours Attended ÷ Total Hours Scheduled = Attendance Percentage

The maximum time allowed to complete the 200-Hour Permanent Cosmetics Program, not exceeding 150% of the program length, is as follows:

Academic performance is assessed through a combination of theory instruction, practical assignments, and hands-on procedures.

  • Students must achieve a grade average of 75% or higher in all evaluations.
  • A final written and practical exam is required for graduation.

Student Conduct Policy and Discipline

Glamour Beauty and Brows Training Institute is committed to fostering professionalism and ensuring a positive learning environment.

  • Regular attendance is mandatory.
  • Students must notify the school of planned absences or emergencies.


Professional Behavior:


Students are expected to:

  • Perform client services and participate in daily sanitation and cleanup tasks as part of their training.
  • Use professional language and refrain from inappropriate discussions.
  • Respect instructors, staff, and fellow students.
  • Direct suggestions or complaints to the school administrator.


Disciplinary Actions:

Students who fail to comply with school policies may face disciplinary actions, including warnings, suspension, or termination.

Re-Enrollment Policy

Students seeking re-enrollment after withdrawal or termination must:

  • Clear any outstanding financial obligations.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to adhere to the institute’s policies.


Re-enrollment is subject to administrative approval and is not guaranteed.


Enrollment Procedures

Prospective students are invited to schedule a personal tour and counseling session before enrolling in the Permanent Cosmetics Program. During this visit, students will receive:

  • A catalog detailing program information, tuition, and fees.
  • Payment options and schedules.
  • Policies on graduation, licensure, and job placement.


Application Process:


  • Complete an Application for Admission and submit it with a $100 non-refundable application fee.
  • Sign an Enrollment Agreement, acknowledging tuition payment terms and school policies.


Non-Refundable Items:

  • Fees for books, kits, and supplies are non-refundable once issued and become the property of the student.

To enroll at Glamour Beauty and Brows Training Institute, all applicants must:


1. Provide Proof of Education:


Submit documentation of secondary or post-secondary education, such as:

  • High school diploma
  • GED certificate
  • Official transcript showing completion of secondary education
  • State certification of home school completion
  • College diploma or transcripts

For students with foreign high school diplomas, we refer them to agencies qualified to translate and evaluate these documents for U.S. equivalency.


2. Present Valid Photo Identification:


Acceptable forms of ID include:

  • State-issued ID card
  • Driver’s license
  • Military ID
  • Passport

3. Meet Age and Citizenship Requirements:


  • Applicants must be at least 17 years old.
  • Provide a Social Security Number and/or proof of eligible non-citizenship status, if applicable.

4. Transfer Students:


  • Submit an official transcript from the previous school. Additional documents may also be required.
  • All prior financial obligations must be settled before re-enrollment.

5. Accessibility Compliance:


  • We comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. Our facilities are wheelchair accessible.

6. Validating High School Diplomas


  • In accordance with Regulation 34 CFR 668.16(p), we confirm the validity of high school diplomas when necessary. We may require further documentation, such as final transcripts or evaluations from recognized agencies for foreign diplomas.

Prospective students are invited to visit Glamour Beauty and Brows Training Institute for a personal tour and counseling session. During the visit, students will receive a detailed catalog (hard copy or electronic) containing:


  • Tuition and fee schedules
  • Payment methods
  • Graduation, licensure, and job placement rates
  • Licensure requirements
  • Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policies

To apply, students must:


  • Complete an Application for Admission and submit it with a $100 non-refundable application fee.
  • Sign an Enrollment Agreement upon registration, agreeing to the tuition payment schedule.

Non-refundable items:


  • Fees for books, kits, and supplies (once issued to the student).
  • We reserve the right to evaluate and accept transfer hours at our discretion. We do not recruit students currently attending or admitted to other schools offering similar programs.

Re-enrollment Policy


  • Re-enrollment is not guaranteed and will be denied if:
  • The student was previously terminated from the program.
  • The student failed to align with the institute's values, standards, and policies.
  • Previous financial obligations remain unsettled.
